Once I thought that love was something I could never do
Bona nit.
The way you look, the way you laugh, the way you love with all you have, there ain't nothing about you, don't do something for me. The way you kiss, the way you cry, the way you move when you walk by, there ain't nothing about you, don't do something for me.

Where you look, where you laugh, where you love with all you have There ain't nothing about you, don't do something for me Where you kiss, where you cry, where you move when you walk by There ain't nothing about you, don't do something for me Where you look, where you laugh, where you love with all you have Your dance, your drive, you make me feel alive

I haven't seen you in forever Oh, you haven't changed a bit You didn't think that I'd remember How could I forget? We sang Bobby McGee on the hood of my car Made a wish on every star
Fins demà!
To this day I still taste that first kiss How I prayed it wouldn't end And in a way, seeing you like this I guess I never really did And we sang Bobby McGee on the hood of my car Metal was shown every star
Fins demà!
Bona nit. Bona nit.
We sang Bobby McGee on the hood of my car That was shown every star
Grown men, don't cry up.
I pulled into the shopping center and saw a little boy wrapped around the legs of his mother. Like ice cream melting they embraced years of bad decisions running down her face. All morning I'd been thinking my life's so hard and they wore everything they owned living in a car.
I don't know why they say grown men don't cry
I keep having this dream about my old man I'm ten years old and he's holding my hand We're talking on the front porch watching the sun go down But it was just a dream he was a slave to his job and he couldn't be around
So many things I want to say to him But I just placed a rose on his grave And I talked to the wind I don't know why they say grown men don't cry I don't know why they say grown men don't cry, don't cry
I'm sitting here with my kids and my wife and everything that I hold dear in my life We say grace and thank the Lord, got so much to be thankful for Then it's up the stairs and off to bed and my little girl says I haven't had my story yet
I love you, Dad. I don't know why they say grown men don't cry.
Don't cry, don't cry.
He called her on the road from a lonely cold hotel room just to hear her say I love you.
When he heard the sound Of the kids laughing in the background He had to wipe away a tear from his eye A little voice came on the phone And said, Daddy, when you come home He said the first thing that came to his mind I'm already there
Take a look around I'm the sunshine in your hair I'm the shadow on the ground I'm the whisper in the wind I'm your imaginary friend And I know I'm in your prayers Oh, I'm already there
Fins demà!
And I'll gently kiss your lips Touch you with my fingertips So turn out the light And close your eyes I'm already there Don't make a sound I'm the beat in your heart I'm the moonlight shining down I'm the whisper in the wind
And I'll be there till the end. Can you feel the love that we share? Oh, I'm already there. We may be a thousand miles apart, but I'll be with you wherever you
I'm already there Take a look around I'm the sunshine in your hair I'm the shadow on the ground I'm the whisper in the wind And I'll be there till the end Can you feel the love that we share?
Estàs escoltant el Club del Cantri, amb Rafel Corbí.
Why does the colour of my coffee match your eyes? Why do I see you when a stranger passes by? I swear I hear you in the whisper of the wind I feel you when the sun is dancing on my skin And when it's raining
Bona nit.
The taste of sugar sure reminds me of your kids I like the way they both linger on my lips
Kisses remind me of a field of butterflies It must be the way my heart is fluttering inside Beautiful distraction You make every thought a chain reaction When I think about rain, I think about singing When I think about singing, it's a heavenly tune
Fins demà!
When I think about heaven, I think about angels When I think about angels, I think about you When I think about rain, I think about singing When I think about singing, it's a heavenly tune
When I think about heaven, I think about angels When I think about angels, I think about you When I think about rain, I think about singing When I think about singing, it's a heaven in truth When I think about heaven, I think about angels When I think about angels
When I Think About Angels.
She left without leaving a number She said she needed to clear her mind He figured she'd gone back to Austin Cause she talked about it all the time It was almost a year Before she called him up
Three rings and an answering machine Is what she got If you're calling about the car I sold it If this is Tuesday night I'm bowling If you got something to sell You're wasting your time I'm not buying If it's anybody else Wait for the tone You know what to do
If this is Austin I still love you The telephone fell to the counter She heard but she couldn't believe What kind of man would hang on that long What kind of love that must be
She waited three days and then she tried again. She didn't know what she'd say, but she heard three rings and then...
If it's Friday night, I'm at the ballgame And first thing Saturday, if it don't rain I'm headed out to the lake And I'll be gone all weekend long But I'll call you back when I get home On Sunday afternoon P.S. If this is Austin
I still love you This time she left her number But not another word Then she waited by the phone On Sunday evening And this is what he heard
If you're calling about my heart It's still yours I should've listened to it a little more And it wouldn't have taken me so long To know where I belong And by the way, boy This is no machine you're talking to Can't you tell this is our story
I still love you. I still love you.

I'm not talking about hooking up and hanging out I'm just talking about tonight You were sitting on your bar stool Talking to some fool who didn't have a clue I guess they couldn't see You were looking right at me Cause I was looking at you too
Dennis, do you want to dance? Have we ever met? You said, hold your horses, boy. I ain't that easy to get. Oh, I'm not talking about locking down forever, baby. That would be too demanding. I'm just talking about two lonely people who might reach a little understanding.
I'm not talking about knocking out heaven with whether we're wrong or we're right. I'm not talking about hooking up and hanging out. I'm just talking about tonight. She said, I only take it slow. By now you ought to know that I ain't digging this.
If we can start as friends, the weekend just might end with a little kiss. She said, I'm a lady looking for a man in my life who'll make a good husband, I'll make a good wife. Easy now. I'm not talking about locking down forever, baby, that would be too demanding.
I'm just talking about two lonely people Who might reach a little understanding I'm not talking about knocking out heaven With whether we're wrong or we're right See, I'm not talking about hooking up and hanging out I'm just talking about tonight Yeah, I'm just talking about a little bit later tonight

Bona nit.
As you walked away The echo of my words Cut just like a knife Cut so deep it hurt I held back the tears Held on to my pride And watched you go I wonder if you'll ever know
Bona nit.
That's what I really meant to say.

What I Really Mean To Say. Anem amb Alan Jackson, dues setmanes al número 1 per el seu tema Where I Come From, una cançó escrita per ell mateix i que va ser el tercer senzill del seu àlbum Once Somebody Loves You, recordant tots els números 1 dels gairebé 40 anys del Club del Country.
Lies rolling wheels and shifting gears around that Jersey turnpike. Barney stopped me with his gun ten minutes after midnight. Said, sir, you broke the limit in this rusty old truck. I don't know about that accent, son. Just where did you come from? I said, where I come from? It's cornbread and chicken. Where I come from? A lot of front porch sitting. Where I come from?
Tryin' to make a livin' And workin' hard to get to heaven Where I come from Well, out south of Detroit City Pulled in this country kitchen Try their brand of barbecues I'd sit finger lickin' Well, I paid the tab And the lady asked me how'd I like my biscuit I'll be honest with you, ma'am It ain't like mama fixed it Cause where I come from
It's cornbread and chicken, where I come from, a lot of front porch picking, where I come from, trying to make a living and working hard to get to heaven, where I come from.
I was chasing sun on 101 somewhere around Ventura I lost a universal joint and I had to use my finger This tall lady stopped and asked if I had plans for dinner Said no thanks ma'am back home we like the girls that sing soprano
Bona nit.

Trying to make a living. And working hard to get to heaven. Where I come from. Where I come from. Yeah, where I come from. A lot of front porch sitting. Staring up at heaven. Where I come from. Where I come from. Trying to make a living.
School bus driver in a traffic jam Staring at the faces in a rear view mirror Looking at the promise of the promised plan One kid dreams of fame and fortune
One could end up going to prison One just might be president
As big as we want to We all get a chance Everybody gets to dance All in America Some going down On an L.A. freeway Newlyweds in the back Of a limousine
Well, their son and a banker's daughter All they want is everything She came out here to be an actress He was a singer in a band
They just might go back to Oklahoma And talk about the stars they could have been Only in America Dreaming in red, white and blue Only in America Where we dream as big as we want to

Here we are What is left of a husband and a wife With four good kids who have a way
Bona nit.
I understand that loving a man shouldn't have to be this rough. And you ain't the only one who feels like this world's left you far behind. I don't know why you gotta be angry all the time.
Our boys are strong now, the spitting image of you when you were young. I hope someday they can see past what you have become. I remember every time I said I'd never leave.
But what I can't live with is memories of the way you used to be The reasons that I can't stay don't have a thing to do with being in love And I understand that loving a man shouldn't have

Twenty years have came and went since I walked out of your door. I never quite made it back to the one I was before. God, it hurts me to think of you for the light in your eyes was gone. Sometimes I don't know why this old world can't leave well enough alone.
I don't know why you gotta be angry all the time

Angry All The Time, la cançó que ens aportava novament Tim McGraw.
We talk about your work, how your boss is a jerk We talk about your church and your head when it hurts We talk about the troubles you've been having with your brother About your daddy and your mother and your crazy ex-lover We talk about your friends and the places that you've been We talk about your skin and the dimples on your chin The polish on your toes and the run and your hose And God knows we're gonna talk about your clothes
You know talking about you makes me smile. But every once in a while, I want to talk about me, want to talk about I, want to talk about number one, oh my, me, my, what I think, what I like, what I know, what I want, what I see. I like talking about you, you, you, you, usually. But occasionally, I want to talk about me.
We talk about your dreams and we talk about your schemes, your high school team and your moisturizer cream. We talk about your nana up in Muncie, Indiana. We talk about your grandma down in Alabama. We talk about your guys of every shape and size, the ones that you despise and the ones you idolize. We talk about your heart, about your brains and your smarts and your medical charts. And when you start, you know talking about you makes me grin.
Fins demà!
Me, me, me, me, me, me. I want to talk about me. Me, me, me, me, me. You, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you. I want to talk about me. I want to talk about me. I want to talk about I. I want to talk about number one. Oh, my, me, my. What I think, what I like, what I know, what I want, what I see.
But occasionally I want to talk about me. I want to talk about me.
Som aquí, I want to talk about me.
Where were you when the walls stopped turning?
Where were you when the world stopped turning on that September day? Were you in the yards?
With your wife and children working on some stage in L.A. Did you stand there in shock at the sight of that black smoke rising against that blue sky? Did you shout out in anger and fear for your neighbor or did you just sit down and cry?
Did you weep for the children who lost their dear loved ones and pray for the ones who don't know? Did you rejoice for the people who walked from the rubble and sought for the ones left below?
Did you burst out with pride for the red, white and blue And the heroes who died just doing what they do Did you look up to heaven for some kind of answer And look at yourself and what really matters I'm just a singer of simple songs I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN, but I'm not sure I can tell you the difference in Iraq and Iran. But I know Jesus, and I talk to God, and I remember this from when I was young. Faith, hope, and love are some good things He gave us, and the greatest is love.
Where were you when the world stopped turning on that September day? Teaching a class full of innocent children or driving down some cold interstate. Did you feel guilty cause you're a survivor? In a crowded room did you feel alone?
Did you call up your mother and tell her you loved her? Did you dust off that Bible at home? Did you open your eyes and hope it never happened? Close your eyes and not go to sleep? Did you notice the sunset the first time in ages? Speak to some stranger on the street.
Did you lay down at night and think of tomorrow, go out and buy you a gun? Did you turn off that violent old movie you're watching and turn on Isle of Blue, Siri runs? Did you go to a church and hold hands with some strangers, stand in line and give your own blood?
Did you just stay home and cling tight to your family? Thank God you had somebody to love. I'm just a singer of simple songs. I'm not a real political man. I watch CNN, but I'm not sure I can tell you the difference in Iraq and Iran.
I know Jesus and I talk to God and I remember this from when I was young Faith, hope and love are some good things he gave us And the greatest is love I'm just a singer of simple songs I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell you The difference in our rock and our red But I know Jesus and I talk to God And I remember this from when I was young Faith, hope and love are some good things He gave us And the greatest is love And the greatest is love
Where were you when the world stopped turning?
Good morning, beautiful, how was your night? Mine was wonderful with you by my side.
I had no reason to care Since you came along

Adéu-siau.
