Es va fundar aquest club, l'escena més contundent i potent de Nova York, fundada per Healy Crystal, donant pas a bandes originàries de Nova York amb els Ramons, Television, Patty Smith, Blondie, Talking Heads o els mateixos Flash Stones.
I aquí introduïm aquest programa amb l'instrumental Atom Spice, els Flashstones, amb els seus espies atòmics des del seu debut Blast Off, despegant el CBGB 1978.

I un altre, el David Bowie. Aquesta connexió amb l'escena de Nova York ens porta aquest també connectat amb el Bowie, l'Higgy Pop i Lou Reed.
