Ruta 66. Hola, família, això és la Ruta 66. Aquesta setmana, l'última de l'any, donarem un repàs al millor del 2025, segons el nostre parer, esclar. Escoltarem artistes de rock que han tornat, durant els passats 12 mesos, a editar noves propostes.
Com sempre, abans de començar la salutació de l'equip del programa, en Marc de los Santos al control de so, que ens acompanya per última setmana, i en Pitu posant la veu. Vinga, comencem des d'Escòcia amb el full rock Timmy MacDonald. El passat mes de juliol sortia el seu sisè àlbum d'estudi. Un dels tracks més destacats és aquest anomenat Trapet.

Everett dona títol al sisè disc dels Hallstorm, una banda de rock alternatiu de Pensilvània, capitanejada per la vocalista Lizzie Hale. I ara, la que per mi és la millor interpretació de l'any. És un duet. Ells són la vocalista de metal Doro i Udo Diosneida. Els dos alemanys van reinterpretar una antiga cançó del Subcept, aquesta, Winter Dreams.

Ever Leave You Lonely. Des del Canadà, els veterans Honeymoon Suite. Una banda que triomfava als anys 80 i va desaparèixer. Després van tornar al 24 i aquest 25 hem tingut nou disc. La mateixa història que els americans guien, que en 35 anys només tenen 6 àlbums. L'últim d'aquest 2025 inclou aquesta peça, Time to Call in Love.

Stan Dunnit és una de les cançons recuperades aquest 2025 per Bruce Springsteen. Va rescatar 7 àlbums perduts. La que hem escoltat és de l'any 85. Un altre dels grans, potser l'artista de rock més important d'Austràlia, va editar nou àlbum, el 21er de la seva carrera. Ell és Jimmy Barnes. I aquesta, una de les noves, New Day.

Walking Through Fire és un dels tracks que formen part del vuitè àlbum dels anglesos de Darkness. La banda dels germans Hawkins també va passar per la ciutat contal per presentar-lo en directe. I per tancar el repàs a l'any 2025, aquí a la Ruta 66, el meu ídol, Brian Adams, va editar el passat 29 d'agost el seu setzer àlbum d'estudi. L'edició deluxe del disc Roll With The Punches inclou un àlbum bonus que inclou una antiga cançó dels anys 80, Tau Town.
