I went to the crossroads fell down on my knees. I went to the crossroads fell down on my knees.
At the Lord above, I may say, Say, Pope Bob, if you please. Stand at the crossroads, I'll drive the flag around.
I tried to flag a riot. And nobody seemed to know me. Everybody passed me by. And it's all going down, boy. It's all gonna catch me young.

Tell my friend boy Willie Brown. Now that I'm standing at the crossroad, babe, I believe I'm sinking down.
Lord, lord, lord. Lord, lord, lord. There ain't nobody still here if I do. Some of these days I'm going crazy
Buy me a shotgun and shoot my baby Ain't nobody's business if I do If I should take a notion I'd go right down
Jump in the ocean Ain't nobody's business If I do One day I'll have chicken and dumplings Yes, the next day I don't have nothing
Ain't nobody's business if I do. If I attend church all day Sunday. Yes, and cabaret all day Monday. Ain't nobody's business
if I do. If I stay out all night, spend my money, that's all right. Ain't nobody's business if I do.
Tornem demà!
Ah, yes, and chill.
No Bodies Business If I Do.
I was a cat
Well, I went to my baby's house And I said, oh, it was one of them Tell them about it, boy.
She said, come on in now, Louisiana. My old man just now lived. My old man just now lived. Lord have mercy.
Well, my mama told my papa, what did you tell her? If before I was born you got a boy child coming home, it gonna be a rolling stone.
Mm... Yes, I feel like my lowdown home.
Back down Vicksburg I'm gone. Back down Vicksburg I'm gone.
Well, now, getting late over in the evening, I feel like... like blowing my horn. When I woke up this morning all I...
I have us gone, I'm getting laid over in the evening, man. I feel like, like blowing my horn. Well, I woke up this morning, all I have is gone.
Brooks went to the ocean, ocean running into the sea. Don't find my baby, somebody gonna show bury me. Brooks went to the ocean, made out of ocean, went to the sea.
Well, now, I don't find my baby, pal. Somebody sure gonna bury me. Yeah!
Well, many seem like hours and hours, gonna seem like days. Seems like my baby will stop her,
Oh, people, well, I may seem like I was, and I was seem like this. Well, now, seem like my baby child, well child, will stop along our way.
Ah... Ah... Ah... Ah... Ah...
No, no.
La, la, la, la, la...
Ah, ah, ah... Ah, ah, ah... Ah, ah, ah... Ah, ah, ah... Ah, ah, ah...
The gypsy woman told my mother Before I was born You got a boy child coming
Gonna be a son of a gun. He gonna make pretty women jump and shout. Then they would want to know what this all about. But you know I'm here.
I got a black cat bone. I got a mojo too. I got the John the Cockaroo. I'm gonna mess with you. I'm gonna make you girls leave me by my hand. Then they will know.
Only seven hours Only seven days Only seven months The seven doctors said He was born for good luck And that you see I got seven hundred dollars And don't you mess with me
The whole round world know we here.
If you're a long way from home Can't sleep at night Grab your telephone Something just ain't right That's evil Evil is going on wrong
Well, long way from home and can't sleep at all. You know another mule is kicking in your stone. That's evil. Evil is going on.
I watch your happy home. You better catch it. Call something home. Then you're home.
Well, if you call on the telephone and she has the laws of slow, grab the fire thing, smoke it, and if you have the whole bone, that's evil. Evil is going on low. I am warning you, brother, you'd better watch your happy home.
If you make it to your house, knock on the front door, run round to the back, you'll catch him dead before he goes. That's evil. Evil is going on. I am warning you, brother, you'd better watch your happy home.
Oh, your love, babe, can it be mine?
I hate to be the one The love you left behind All your love Baby, don't look around
Baby, don't turn around. There's just one thing, baby, you will find on the ground.
Oh, your love I've got to have one day
Don't you leave me, baby. Baby, please come back this way.
Look at the tears roll down the street. The skies cry. Look at the tears roll down the street.
And I wonder where can she be I saw my baby one morning And she was walking on down the street
Yeah, she was walking on down the street Made me feel so good Until my poor heart would skip a beat
My baby, my baby don't love me no more.
Lord, I wonder what's the matter. I'm tired and over-tired. It seems that everything has changed, but I hold up my hand. Lord, I'm trying to make you understand. Lord, you know what? Everybody, they tell me. Somebody in the hoodoo, the hoodoo man.
Now you know I, I buzz your bell this morning, baby, had your elevator running slow. I buzz your bell, little girl, take my phone to the third floor, but I hold it in my hand. Lord, I'm trying to make you understand. Lord, you know, they tell the baby there's somebody on who do the who do man. Look at him, baby.
I said, mom, I tell you this time, baby, I ain't gonna tell you no more. And next time I tell you I have to let you go. But I hold up my hand. Lord, I'm trying to make her understand. Lord, you know everybody, they tell me. Somebody learn who do the who do man.
Seven days gone by, notes and bills is all I got. Seven days gone by, notes and bills is all I got. What's that mailman trying to do? I got the mailbox blues. Rain, shine, sleet or snow, still bring the wrong mail to my door.
Rain, shine, sleet or snow Still bring the wrong mail to my door Bill for the light, one for the phone Nothing from my baby back home I got the mailbox blues Mailbox blues, that's all I got I got the mailbox blues Mailbox blues, that's all I got
I got no letter from my baby I got the mailbox blues
I've been sitting watching and waiting Had a mind to check downtown I've been sitting watching and waiting Had a mind to check downtown Soon if a letter from my baby I'm gonna tear my mailbox down
All the lovin' is lovin' All the kissin' is kissin' All the lovin' is lovin' All the kissin' is kissin' Before I met you, baby Never knew what I was missin' All your love, pretty baby
That I got in store for you All your love, pretty baby That I got in store for you I love you pretty baby Well, I say you love me too
Hey, hey, baby. Oh, you love me pretty, baby. Oh, you love me pretty, baby. Oh, you love me pretty, baby. There's a problem with you, baby. I'm not gonna know what I want to say. Hey, hey, baby.
Hey, yes, baby. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, baby. Oh, oh, baby. Since the first time I saw you, baby, I never knew I would miss you.
Little thing I'm going to do called I'm bad. Like Jesse James.
Like Jessa Jane, uh-huh. I had a friend one time, least I thought I did. He come to me, said Johnny,
I take the cat in, get him a place to stay. And I found now he going round town telling everybody that he got my wife.
Good guys, yeah.
I'm so mad. I'm so mad. I'm gonna run you this morning. I got three boys. Do my dirty work. Now you don't see me. I'm the big boss. I do the paint off.
I have to take care of you In their own way They may shoot you They may cut you They may drown you I just don't know I don't care The longer they take care of you
I'm so mad.
No, no, no.
They gonna gag your throat while you can't holler. And trying won't help you none. They gonna sink you in the water.
Ah, yeah! I'm so mad. Well, I had a woman She was nice, kind and loving to me in every way
She was kind and loving to me in every way. Oh, she used to love me and bring my breakfast to the bed every day. Oh, for ten long years,
She was my pride and joy. Over ten long years. She was my pride and joy.
No, no.
You know I'm all alone It's all over, baby
Well, the reason you helped me singing the blues, baby. Oh, you know my baby's gone.
M'agradaria veure't.
Have mercy, people. Listen now. You know what it means to be living on. Have mercy, people. You know what it means to be living on.
No letter today. Not even a call on my telephone.
Because my heart is so much in pain.
A little love and it's all in the world I need. Have mercy, have mercy now. A little love and it's all in the world I need. Mr. the standing and an old good woman. This calls my heart to bleed.
