I és que volem portar a terme una altra entrevista
relacionada amb el Festival Internacional
de Dixiland de Tarragona.
No us ho podeu perdre.
Des de dimarts que s'estan realitzant actuacions
al llarg de diferents espais de la ciutat
i encara fins dissabte en podeu gaudir.
Val la pena, val molt la pena.
Nosaltres vam estar ahir a la bequeria,
vam veure una mena de jam session
i vam quedar bé, al·lucinats.
I és que vénen figures a nivell internacionals
tan importants com, per exemple, els músics
que tenim avui aquí a l'estudi
i que, no ho sé, estan més pendents
potser de l'actuació que tenen ara mateix
a dos quarts de vuit aquí a l'Hotel Ciutat de Tarragona
que no pas de l'entrevista.

You are specialized.

and his career lasted many years

How long have you been playing?
Oh, with this band or just me?

about four years
and we've gotten to go a lot of places
and play.
I've been playing music
since I was about three or four years old,
so that's maybe about 108 years ago,
you know, so...
It's a long time.
And you started with the trumpet?
No, I started on guitar
and then I switched to piano
and then when I was about 12,
I switched to trumpet.

que per nosaltres
és una mica extraordinari
això del Dixieland
aquí a Tarragona,
però jo no sé com veuen
el Dixieland als Estats Units,
si és una corrent musical
doncs prou àmplia
o no,
també és un avis rara, no?
Here in Tarragona
we only have this festival,
Dixieland,
once a year.
It's something special,
it's not about our culture,
but it's something special
and extraordinary.
What about Dixieland
in the United States?
Is it general?
A general stream
of making music
or is specific?

it's similar to here
in the sense
that there's not a lot of clubs
where you would go here
on a regular bay.

in different areas
that happen,

it's pretty similar
here and in the United States.
